I wish them well.
As far as cable installs go, voip will force a change in the way this industry holds standards pertaining to the quality of work being done out there.
At this point in time it's all to easy to prove that the cable companies are part and partner to the amount of incompetant miscreants rolling around out there driving grocery getters with v-rung ladders tied to the luggage rack with ground wire and zip ties posing as techs. And being able to prove that will open the door to many a litigation against both the service providers and the primes they contract out to.
Problems such as house alarm systems failing, and medical alert phone systems malfunctioning and loss of life because of the above will be just the begining of the end for alot of those responsible for allowing what goes on today in the name of "get er done". Over and out.
