Re: Wild Blue Performance?

Have installed both. Own a Wildblue system. My reccomendation is go with Wildblue. You can purchase the pro pack service on Wildblue, which will give you 1.5 download speed and 225 upload speed for somewhere around $80.00 a month. Direcway does not come close, in my opinion, on the price points for the same service. Also Wildblue will simply work consistently day in and day out. It is more stable for the consumer for one big reason....circular polarization. Direcway for their consumer equipment has Vertical and Horizontal polarization, while Wildblue is either left or right handed circular. Makes the system, in my opinion, much more stable through various weather.

Make sure you pay close attention to the ground. Poor grounding on either system will lead to poor performance.
