Question. Do HSPs ever even consider that they chase a large number of quality installers out of the business. Do you guys consider how difficult it is for a guy to be making 90/25, 80/20 etc.. to now be asked to work for 60/10, 50/15 etc... with an increased scope of work.

Im just wondering. B&A I hear is in real trouble. Im just wondering if any of you stop and think that maybe you are causing your own problems? I tried to keep this question as unloaded as possible. Im just really interested in knowing how and why you guys see this industry as a 10/hr job and seem to expect to attract top notch talent. Do you guys really feel you put yourself in a position to attract and retain experienced and quality minded techs? I know paying more doesnt gurantee better people, but I think we can agree you better your chances to attract and retain better people with a higher rate of pay.
