When we first launched mostly was to existing HSD customers. We noticed right away a drop in HSD speed tests immediately after switching to the mta, before or after provisioning of the VOIP side. This ended up being a OS issue with our server and the firmware of the Arris modems. It took our advanced engineering department to come up with a solution. Just remember that a tight plant and drop is the first requirement to make this play well, the second is good supplier support. We are pushing everything up to 256 QAM and have definitely noticed it is much more sensitive to any data corruption.
