No it is not more than I am claiming, as a current member of a trade union (not the CWA of IBEW), I can atest that the dues of that union are $28 per month which is approx. 1½ hours salary. I can also testify that the CWA collects a rate of 1½ hours salary a month as dues, that is what i was told when I had dealings with them and I have no reason to doubt the rates they quoted. I can say that at the time Bruister officals couldn't tell the employees what the actual rate of pay was going to be for the COV techs (it turned out that the rumored low salary was correct, the execs just didn't want to admit it at the time, part of their stall tactics and attempts to pasify the techs until the trucks actually arrived).
