Our company normally pays $25 more for any DBS commercial install over pay scale for residential. On the same hand, we provide all materials, and we pay for all extra work, i.e. wallfishes, custom mounts, etc. Start off by getting your level 3 SBCA cert. Then, check with the larger dealers in your area to find out who has a commercial dept. If they don't have a commercial department, you probably want to keep looking, as they most likely won't be able to keep you busy. One other thing, look at getting some experience in telephony, wifi, and networking, as most commercial customers will want all of these needs to be met by one installation company. Hope this helps.
