I'm sure you are well aware of you get what you pay for... I would not brag about either Case or Ditch Witch. I have always been a firm believer in Vermeer , for over 15 years. Both through the good and bad. Machines are going to break down regardless. Both pending on ground conditions & operator maintenance. I believe if you take care of your machine it will take care of you . The 255 is a destruction tool, you will fight to get 10" to 12". Besides if the yard is already existing you now have restoration to do. Rest assured your tires are constantly spinning. No weight & no muscle. No muscle to even cut through minor tree roots. Vermeer is top end heavy roll over possibilities, but you have to be on top of your game and field smart. not for the novice, but the professional .
