regular employment, company pays in 1/2 of your social security, 1099 folks pay the entire amount which if I'm not mistaken is 15%
Some contractors cover your workers comp but a lot more don't so expect to pay for some kind of comp policy which will more than likely give you no coverage unless you pay out the whazzoo!
