Depending on how high tech your thief is you can try a few things
1. Cut in new drop fittings of one color or brand. Most crooks unless system people or subs get cheap fittings to bootleg cable and make it easy to identify.
2. Cut the drop off leaving it short so a crook will have to use a jumper which is easily identifiable.
3. Draw a diagram in the box or lid with a sharpie showing which ports are paying subs and their apt #.
4. If theft is real bad and only a few subs exist try changing face plates to limit amount of ports or take a plate and cut off the jumper wire inside making the ports useless. The tangle of splitters and jumpers cut in will let you know who your thief is.
