WOW...... The bill for union busters, or Union avoidance couselors as they perfer to be called, is high. I mean were talking $300/hr. Hmmm wonder why a company would not just invest that money in their employees.
Just so everyone knows, these "Union avoidance couselors" are becoming 1 stop shops for employers. They specialize in helping employers stop workers from unionizing, most also have programs that speacializes in helping employers tap the "un-tapped ethinc/hispanic market." The "couselors" are helping corporations eliminate workers who see the need for higher wages when the cost of living goes up. They want them replaced with mostly 1st generation hispanics or other immigants who are not clear of what their rights are, and are more likely to accept sub-par treatment as long as they present it in a nice way. You know, the way OSG and a few others paint the picture in our business.
This what the union-free companies in this business do. But of course if unions were here it wold be much worse. I dont know, but I would start looking for k-y on sale.
Union avoidance and Ethnic workforce speacilist one stop shop. Wow... How convient, they can get all done in one shot.
