If you're in New England Lynn Ladder is the best price, Werner or Louisville they can't be beat. I've tried others, but I'd get cracks after a year or two, just too brittle.

When I bough my new one (a while ago) they had a type 1a d-rung 28' with hooks and a v-notch for 300 clams. That ladder is still in great shape after a ton of abuse.

Get solid c-channel. MUCH STRONGER and doesn't whistle.

Get D-ring. Adds two pounds but its nice on the feet if you're up there all day.
