Re: Installation of 2 322 Dish Receivers

go to the room with the rec and take both remotes turn the rec off with the power button on the unit not the remote and then hit the ch up button on the rec this will bring up the info screen and then you will see the remote address , now you want to change all remotes to be 5 fqz ch of each other like 1 & 5 then on the other rec 10 & 15 to change the address

#1 hold down the sat button till the other buttons light up then enter the number to the fqz you want they will be default on ch 1 push the 5 button

#2 then hit the # button on the bottom rt of the remote

#3 then you hold down the rec. button till you see the address change on the screen

i always did #1 remote on ch1 and #2 on ch5 then 10 & 15 on the other rec this works on all dish remotes this will also fix all dvrs and hi def rec they are uhf and will mess with each other when installed in the same house and even some houses that are close to each other but all rec come with the remotes set on fqz 1 and will with any other uhf remote on the same fqz

you can also extend the remote distance by running coax from the ant. port to the attic and closer to the sec tv

i all ways diaplex the out bound sig to the house splitter location and combine both #2 outs into the house that way they can change to ether #2 rec this cool when you have a dvr

you have to change the fqz to cable and change the output ch to a dif ch of course
