TDDI's example is one that shows things if you are a contractor that pay all the fees associated with being a contractor. 50K is fine with most people because they dont pay many of those things. OT being 1 good example. We dont even pay ourseles OT, great industry. 50K of tax free money, and no fees associated, is a great thing. Which I think is what most people are doing. 50K income with all the associated expenses of being a contractor is barely ok if you are working 6hr days 5 days a week. But to be contractor working 6 days and 12 hrs is not good at all. IMO
