Of course you won't see it on the news, because it's probably one of those urban legends (like the one about the arab convience store owner dancing at the news of the 911 attacks and being denied deliveries from Budweiser) that was written to inspire people over this Memorial Day holiday weekend. Wait a week or two, the urban legend guru's will bust it if it ain't so.
Until then it's a nice story with lots of flag waving appeal, but I doubt it really occured or at least occured as it was related.
