I would figure it would work fine, but I wouldn't know for sure because I never installed anything like that before, obviously I would call some other people and ask them before starting that project, and only gave my best guess for the weird scenario given.

I would install a triple sat and stack 2 4X8's , because if they have 12 receivers, chances are very good they will have a couple HD TVs and want at least one HD reciever, if not then, then they will someday.

And your desperate need to call me a hack is kind of creepy, and strange!(sad)
