Re: uhf problems

Well thats good check the level of your input 0 to +10 db should be good a little less will be OK but should be addressed if its to far out of spec. Does your meter read uhf and do you know how to use it? I'm not trying to be smart but I just need a little background so I can try and help. Your processor should have a level of gain that is spec be it 40 or 60db you need to know this in order to test its gain and is it working properly. You do need a TV too like was stated in an earlier post to see what your putting into your processor crap in equals crap out. Just hook the input up and tune to the channel (you may need to set the menu to air rather than cable to tune in the channel). Now you know weather you have an antenna problem could be the cable or connectors also but you've divided your problem its either good or bad in if its good its time to look at the processor.
