I see where you guys are coming from, but the bottom line is, we as parents are responsible for making sure our child is ready to learn once they get to school. If Johnny's diet makes him hyper, who is the one that control's his diet? The parent. The parent should change his diet to where, when Johnny comes to school he is ready to learn, and not on a sugar trip.

If a child is having problems at home, it is up to the parent to work throgh this at home and have your child ready to learn when they get to school or keep him at home, or put him in a school that can cater to the child's custom needs. It is not the job of the teacher. The teacher is there to teach. The child should be there to learn. The parent is responsible for making sure their child is at school, and is there prepared to be taught.
