Re: $50,000 a year is NOT a good living!

Policeman are about the 3rd highest paid in America. They average around 50K a year in wages and about another 50K+ in bribes, kickbacks, protection money, extortion, revenue from the sale of confiscated drugs and other items, etc.

Now as far as fireman go, I have a great deal of respect for them!
