In Florence Alabama Comcast is a IBEW unionized office. The technicians there make 12-14 per hour. When I started organizing the Bruister & Ass. I asked diiferent union members from different organizations how they rated their unions and IBEW was not highly recommended at all. Maybe they helped the electricians, but it doesn't seem they know how to bargain in the telecommunications field.
CWA was the highly recommended union of choice by it's members. I wish you guys well with this. I have heard that B&A's Gadsden office is union and its Nashville office will be next.
