Fiber Splicers needed for upcoming work for Scientific Atlanta

Scientific-Atlanta, headquartered in metro Atlanta, is at the forefront of today's telecommunications revolution, with 1999 sales in excess of $1 billion. We have an exciting opportunities for experienced Fiber splicers.

Location: Multiple locations CONUS (initial projects will be in Missouri and Indiana)

Reports To: TBD

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years fiber splicing to include
The following:

§ Fiber cable (sheath) preparation

§ Single fusion splicing technics and standards

§ Mass fusion fiber splicing technics and standards

§ Fiber splice enclosure specifications and application

§ Optical test equipment and their applications

Assignment: To provide fiber cable splicing services at multiple locations through the United States.

Physical Requirements: Must be able drive between multiple job sites without restriction. Must be certified to operate lift trucks. Must be able to lift 50 to 60 lbs. Must be able work on demand without regard to date or time.
