Re: New and need advice

I worked for SBC in 1999-2000 time frame working POTS and a tad bit of DSL, I hired in at a little over $20 an hour, I got overtime after 40 hours and double OT at 49 hours. Holidays were double time and a half. It had good bennies. The down side was very little time off, I got two SN days but they were not together, however most of the time I only got one of those days, because of mandatory OT. I made more money there than I ever have in management! I just quit to finish my B.S. Degree. Now I wish I would have stayed :(
Does the contractor side measure up?
