O.k. I've got it figured out. We are running SA 2 gear swapping from 550 MHZ 30/42 diplex to 750 Mhz 30/42 diplex. In the process we are activating the return with 40/51 diplex filters. These filters work great up to 37 Mhz with SA2 unbalanced and balanced triple System Amplifiers. However, The SA2 High gain dual System Amp is unique with this certain 40/51 filter. The input filter location on the circuit board or the filter itself does not mesh correctly with signal direction. The fix we are using is - put the original 30/42 filters in the high gain dual and forget about 37 MHZ because 31 is as high as we can expect.
I would sure appreciate any ideas other than buying original equipment 40/51 filters ( S.A. never made any! that I am aware of). I also don't believe that S.A. will stand by a 40MHZ SA2 platform either.
Thanks for your help............ AIRBUCK , Sys. tech. OR.
