The sad thing is, I have called a prime or two to check on rates and loadings. I always liked satellite because I never had to deal with weak signals at taps. If I wasn't getting a good enough signal in satellite, it is my fault and something I can do something about other than just escalate it to the PMs and hope they can do something about a 4value 2port end run tap.
I suppose cable is coming around to be the right move again now that satellite has crapped their money down to about the same levels. At least with cable the company provides the material so there wouldn't be anymore dealing with vendors who constantly put you on backorder. Right now I am at a good satellite shop where they understand the concept of you get what you pay for. It's just a little slow and a few too many days off but diversification is in the works.
