Oh you are working on a vintage cable system LOL. Ok if these have never had return before there is a return chip that needs to be installed in addition to pads and eq’s I’m not sure what you have done to this point with what you are working on. The system III are similar to the old system II as far as plugin’s go. I can’t find a data sheet on they old system II but here is one for the system III http://www.scientificatlanta.com/customers/source/590559.pdf
Also DB Tronics provided me some return equipment a few years ago for some system II gear that may be able to get you a data sheet for that amp.
