I don't know if Mastec ever was buying Bruister. From what I understand Bruister was just moving their corporation from MS to DE and shifting some money around at the same time (maybe they found a way to shift things around and not have to pay as much taxes). I was told last year that of the twelve DTV HSP's nationwide, Bruister has a large interest in at least five or six of them.
I haven't worked for Bruister since last week of September 2005. I got canned for my efforts in trying to organize a union in the Florence, AL office.
