I have a question.
The hybrids inside line extenders are spec'd at taking around 60 dBmv of signal. Here is where they question begins. If I drove a 34 db line extender with a 60 dBmv modulator, I would see 94 dBmv on the output, right? If I did my math right, that would be 45 dbm, which is 32 watts.
Is this possible? How can a device which is spec'd out to draw a maximum of less then an amp at 24 volts be able to produce around 30 watts of RF power?
Any ideas?
