Is your daughter really required to take Spanish? Or is it that her high school requires everyone to take a foreign language in order to graduate and she either chose Spanish. it was the only class with space available or it is the only foreign language class the school offers?
I know here a foreign language is required but the students have a choice of Spanish, French or German, depending on space availability and whether each school in the area has a teacher for each of those languages.
