Yeah, but your diesel wasn't meant to handle the glycerin component of the veg oil. Bio requires about a quart of Methanol (without vapor recovery, you get about 50% of that back with recovery) and a cup of Lye per gallon, yields a higher energy product and provides Glycerin as a by-product. The oil can be either new or used, and the typical home cooker is a modified hot water heater.
