Who did you work for? I am from Kansas born and bred! And proud of it! You are right though about wearing your gaffs all day, and the 90% BACKYARD easements. But that's how you learn to be the best tech. If you can endure working in Kansas (obviously you contgract through COX Communications, but it can't be that bad. I used to make between $800- 2000 a week. The latter is a great week. What happened? Did you get screwed over? Iam also speaking from the installer side, not construction, but when I did construction I made good money and I gaffed all day long taking L.E.'s, splitters and taps up every pole. Got into installs because it seemed like the money was better.
