Amen to that one - sure doesn't seem like this administration is going to do it. I figure Bush probably has lots of illegals and/or guest workers on his Texas ranch....
On the news the other night, a carpet factory (can't remember the name) was being taken to court by the legal citizen employees and their attorney because of illegals and it was found that one woman was not hired because she couldn't speak fluent Spanish! Unbelievable! That should be a secondary language in this country, not a primary. In addition, the company denied hiring illegals, fired 2, and then hired them back 2 months later under different names! Outcome could be interesting, along with the Supreme Court considering whether or not employers hiring illegals are rackateers....
It was nice to see; however, the 1100 plus illegals that were rounded up and deported (so they could come over the fence again) from a pallet factory employer....hope they got a whopping fine, too....
But, you are right, 1Farmer, the laws in place should be enforced. What a wonderful example is being set for more fence/border crossers. No worries.
