or every 6 months, one or the other. Its that time of the year again where the old 'lets get a union going' threads rear their ugly heads. Unions don't mean sh!t guys (no offense). A union will NOT put $$$ in your pocket. My step son is union (pipefitters union) and is still layed off. AK STEEL in Ohio is striking. These people on strike had NO checks for over 3 weeks...still unaware if they are yet getting any strike benefits. It's not all instant job security/pricing like y'all seem to want to make it sound like.
If you want a union start doing something about it instead of just discussing (bitching). Ya snooze ya looze I've always found...but quit discussing it. A national band won't happen. It takes small groups to ban together.
Chances are you are already qualified to join a union. Contact your local electrical workers union and see what they have to say.
