That is true, but is there a need for an OTDR that reads this wavelength? The need for power meters testing this wavelength is understandable, and EXFO offers great testers for this purpose, but the OTDR is generally used, as we all know, to find distances and faults, which can easily be picked up with the 1550 nm wavelength. However, as Scott said, if it is in the contract, your stuck.
