Yes sir cant imagine all the scenarios covered in one course! S.A. teaches a good class I"ve been there and the teacher was old school and very well learned but its like being a lineman.I've trained a few and I always said it takes a year and a half to train out a good prospect and thats climbing every day, bucket work will come naturally after that! The part about training linemen that was, and is the hardest, is pole transfers they are deadly if you dont know what your dealing with and I"m still nervous today about sending a good production lineman out doing pole transfers. I've been doin this biz 20yrs now and nearly got killed last year on a cable raise (overhieght big rig caught too low cable I was trying to raise) never and I mean never ever build something across the road under 18' its that way for a damn good reason and you better believe it or it will kill you not the greedy mso who wants to save a road bore or pole change out.
