I am always amazed how little people know about him despite his tremendous impact on world events. He was even TIME magazine's "Man of the Year" in 1938 for all of the good things he did. There are only a handful of names that one can say had an impact on the ENTIRE world, him being one of them, yet all you ever hear people say is "oh, him, he killed a lot of jews."
I love European history and I am always reading up various time periods. People are always fascinated by him, that is why the History Channel runs with the subject matter all the time.
