Again, what do you suggest we do with these "felons", either be they Mexican illegals or the Americans who employed them? Should we deport the illegals right away and throw the employers in prison? Should we just stick them all in the slammer? Or should we do as I mentioned and build prison work camps along the border and make them build the wall?
Yep, they line up at the Mexican groceries ever Friday to send money to Mexico. Which is better, to have them here illegally sending untaxed money home? Or make them legal and tax their earnings before the send it home? Or throw them in prison and have your tax dollars used to build & fund the prison and pay for the care of these "felons"?
Frankly I'd rather see the government create a alien worker program for these people, tax them at a normal rate and make it to where while they are allowed to reside and work here they cannot receive government benifits such as unemployment, health care or welfare. Then anyone caught without work permits or who does not pay taxes will go to prison and afterwards be deported without the possibility for re-entry into the US. For those who stay, work and pay taxes here for ten years straight, they should be allowed to apply for citizenship. That's fair to us and them.
