Re: Info

In our area now we are using the 1000 Dish Pro Plus instead of the Super Dish. Both enable you to gather three satellites to one dish. Back in the day, with the Super Dish we used the 34 switch, three in and four out. With the four out we could hook up two dual receivers (322's, 522's etc.) with two cables to each. Now with the 1000 dish there are only two out, from the DP Twin. We must use the seperaters now to be able to hook up two duals. We can also hook up one dual with the seperater and one single (311) off the second output. With the seperaters we can also hook up four singles (311's) with the use of two seperaters. Plus now we don't have to lash that 34 switch to the mast or screw it under the eave. That Super Dish was a cobbled up first generation 1000 dish . They're great and lighter with no need to use support arms and having to take the old mast off the roof to put on the 2" mast. Now on an upgrade from a 500 dish we can use the same 1 5/8" mast and footplate.
