I agree with everyone so far on the background check, nobody wants to hire sex offenders rapists and the like. The driving record however, can also tell you a lot besides what kind of driver they are. For instance in Texas, a drug conviction may not show up in a criminal background check, if the individual received a deferred adjudication in court. However if you look up the driving record, you will find it there. It doesn't seem right that a drug charge shows up on your driving record, but that's how it's done in Lone Star State.
