Yes Sir, North Texas has some mighty powerful storms.. I hail from Wichita Falls myself.. My Moms side of the family come from Melissa, McKinney area.. Think thats Grayson County.. Many moons ago, one of my systems by Chickasha OK had a storm.. I got called out for an outage.. The whole town was out.. I arrived to find my headend blown to pieces.. I mean "BLOWN TO PIECES" like it had been bombed.. Come to find out, Lightning was the culprit.. Also cooked a half mile of trunk and feeder, and fried just about every active and passive piece of equipment for over a mile away.. A Freak happening called a down burst I was told.. Good luck with your dilemma..
