when I have sweep problems with any .500 coaxial, or any other commscope coaxial....I use a mc-2 coring tool to keep the blade off the center conductor...it will leave excess residual dielectric on the center conductor...nothing that y-190's or gator's cannot remove.... be careful while coring because the outer sheath can become distorted...be very careful while coring this way... it will work!!!!! if not, pls let me know what i explained incorrectly and there might be another way to resolve your problem....
