I read quite a few of the post placed here and would like to place my two cents on this subject.
A couple of years ago i bought a house in Colorado. I went to the local store and asked question to the attendant. The girl behind the counter said no english, Espanol only. I walked outside and had to ask is this my country or am in thiers. I went home placed the house on the market, moved to a small farm community in IL. The local school there had 600+ students with 99% english speaking. Two years later we now have 1600 and it is required that all teachers are bilingal.
My problem is I like walking outside to get the paper and saying hello to the neighbors. Not saying hello and getting a "Ohla" back. Forget all the work problems we now have as you fine people have hashed out in the prior posts. I just want my country back where we all speak the same language and are working for the same goal. Which is making our country the greatest in the world. Not, sending all the money to some third world
