CableDog made the best and probably the most frightening point the "middle class" is underattack. He is exactly right. It won't be terrorists it will be millionares. We've seen this in the small business for years. Big business chocking the life out of the little guy. Even in the Cable biz. Remember how many Cable companies there were 15 years ago? Now it's down to a handful with deep pockets.
As with many 3rd world countries you will have either the rich that will rule and the poor who will serve with all rights and freedom stripped from them. Individual opinions will not be tolorated in this kind of society as the wealthy and the powerful will make the rules. We will be forced to compete on our own soil with immigrants at their prevailing wage. The is not a "left wing-right wing thing". This is whats happening and unless we wake up and take our govenment to task on the really hard issues we will collapse like a house of cards.
All incumbants should be voted out this 2006 term...send a message that we are the people NOT THEM otherwise we slip into a mediocre society rip for the picking.
