Okay , i looked at all the reply's and none quite hit it right. The trip-sat has it's own internal switch. attaching a 3x4 multi will burn out the switch. You dont need a switch if you only need 4 outputs, the lnb has 4 outputs with a built in multi. if your goin' for more than 4 Zinwell makes a 4x8 compaible but you have to power it. they also make a self powered (power not necessary except from receiver) 6x8 that will also work including Ka/Ku. any trouble call with the trip/sat that has a 3x4, get rid of it, use ground blocks for barrels cause gaurantee it's not grounded either!!!
