DIRECTV TO HOST SATELLITE EXPO "WELCOME TO ATLANTA" PARTY SBCA OFFERING KA/KU CERTIFICATION by Satellite Expo 2006
DIRECTV The world’s largest provider of direct-to-home, satellite TV programming is hosting a “Welcome To Atlanta Party” during Satellite Expo 2006.
This party, which is free to everyone attending Satellite Expo 2006, will be held at the Westin Atlanta Airport, the headquarter hotel for Satellite Expo beginning at 6 PM and lasting until 9 PM on Wednesday, April 19th.
In addition to all your favorite beverages and heavy hors d’ oeuvres, attendees will also receive other complimentary items from DIRECTV. There is no charge to attend the “Welcome To Atlanta Party” other than being a registered attendee of Satellite Expo 2006.
DIRECTV and the SBCA have developed a Ka/Ku Certification course which is designed to augment the current SBCA Residential Certification program. This course addresses DIRECTV’s new Ka and Ku band HDTV delivery technology and will be introduced at Satellite Expo 2006. It will also be made available to all SBCA certified technicians online in mid March. Cost to attend this informative course and take the certification will be $25 per student.
