You guys remember what that slogan of the D.A.R.E. program was?
"Just Say No!"
If you are a contractor, you can refuse to do the work. So refuse to do it. You don't have to take every single job that's thrown at you. Tell your boss that this job isn't worth it, and you're not doing it. If he has a problem with that, tell him he can find someone else, or start paying trip charges. Show him you have some balls. We all need to start doing that....but we have to stop short of just plain whining. There is a middle road, and we ALL need to find it.
