MARCH 7, 2005 CHICAGO -- The U.S. Department of Labor announced today that Broadband Express Inc., doing business as Cable Express Inc., has agreed to pay approximately 1,000 cable installers $1,008,751 in back wages as a result of alleged violations of the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

AUGUST 17, 2005 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Birmingham-based Communications Unlimited of the South Inc. has paid $181,967 in back wages to 213 employees following an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division.

MARCH 2, 2004 MINNEAPOLIS -- Lazer Communications Inc., a cable television installation company based in Brooklyn Park, Minn., has paid $115,926 in back wages to 191 cable installers in Minnesota and Wisconsin following an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) Wage and Hour Division (WHD).
