We have had numerous problems with 5120 modems. Most of them though have been speed issues. If you have checked your Rx and Tx levels and they are good, check snr. Also check to see if the modem has the current firmware. That was a major issue we had with 5101 modems when they first came out. I probably am not much help but that was my 2 cents.
