Most times when you see a fractured thread, it's because an author of a post has posted a tangent of the topic. That tangent then starts a whole new angle on the topic of discussion.
So they may have started off by talking about "Rip-Off Companies" and end up starting a whole new tangent on "Being Ripped-Off from Illegal Immigrants".
I'm no admin, but this is just common board maintainance from my experiance.
