I am sorry, I thought the plate was going to be hidden behind the LCD.
Much less, many companies don't utilize a wallplate but follow thru the plate with continuous cable. I less connection to fail, theoretically. Primestar did it, Americast did it, Home Theater specialists uses this technique since subwoofers and feeds to ther rooms require as many as 8 coax cables going through 1 mudring. I haven't seen an 8 port catv wallplate before.
