The phase 3 dish works fine and is what I use on all installations. As of March 1st I will be installing the Ka/Ku dish on all HD installations and we are to expect a $20-$40 increase in pay due to the excessive amount of work required to install this dish.
The lead technician has stated that this is as much work as installing a Wildblue. It will be pole mounted with 150 lbs of quickrete and we are to make extra for that as well.
I will post next week on the actual figures the company comes up with. One thing about this company is that they actually pay us $30 extra to install a multiswitch or unistall a multiswitch on a triple sat upgrade.
To all the other guys not getting $$ for your extra work, there are other companies to work for.
