Anyone that has been in cable knows that Jerrold Electronics Corp started the cable construction business, One of Jerrold's first construction supervisors in this trade has passed on to a better life: Walter Donehew....construction suprv, regional, divisional from the 50's - 90's.
Today's supervisors have no idea on how construction was manage in those days, : Take away today's cell phone, fed ex, computers, bucket trucks, pblt drills, coffee breaks, 6 hour days and then you might get the feeling that you understand...but you don't- only those that have lived it understands.
Rest in peace Walt- those of us still around will carry on...the cable industry may have changed but construction has not.
